Skills & Requirements

 

  • You will need to have the ability to work with vulnerable clients and families who access emergency relief which provides items such as food and financial relief.
  • Respond in a professional and empathic manner to all presenting clients.
  • engage in face to face assessments, to provide accurate information about our wrap around support services through information and advocacy along with entering client details onto a database accurately.
  • Have a teaching, counselling, community or social services background or be undertaking a similar relevant qualification or program?

We are the Redland and Bayside non-profit community-based organisation with its main office in Capalaba & two outreach centres at Wynnum & the Bay Islands.

We are endorsed by the federal government as a public benevolent institution & registered as a charity with the Aust. Charities and Not for profits Commission.

Our primary aim is to provide crisis services in response to community need within the Redlands through our Emergency Relief program.

All assistance that is provided is based on an individual’s needs.

Our aim is to assist those in genuine need by best using the resources available at that time so that clients can act to address their issues.
