EVENT COORDINATOR VOLUNTEER - CSL143

Our agency provides quality, person centred care for people with disability, frail older people and carers. We deliver innovative personalised support to allow participants to live independent, fulfilled lives, through in home and personal care, domestic assistance, respite, Host Home Care, supported accommodation in our group home, and through our social programs.
Based in Wynnum, we are seeking an enthusiastic volunteer to work with us 1 day per week.
You will work closely with the Community Linker and Lifestyle Planning Coordinators to research, plan, organise and attend our Camp Ability™ and Sociability Club events that are held throughout the year.
Our ideal volunteer will:
Have good communication, computer and telephone skills (previous administration experience is desirable)
Be over 18 and hold a Blue Card (agency will assist with obtaining one)
Be available 1 day per week for more than 3 months
Have the ability to take initiative and be resourceful
